Charlotte was a guest on BBC Newsnight, discussing the announcements from the Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Charlotte said:

"Much of the Chancellor's programme is, of course, welcome but is far too little, far too late for too many businesses and workers in Warrington who have suffered as the Government sat on its hands.

Too often towns like Warrington- that have been living under these restrictions for weeks- are overlooked and change is only made when it impacts London.

The support package also doesn't do enough to support 'furloughed' workers, who are still being asked to live on 66% of the National Minimum Wage. This is fundamentally unfair and unacceptable."
