CHARLOTTE's
CAMPAIGNS

Whether opposing the development of Peel Hall, fighting for more funding for our schools, for good jobs, for safer streets or for an end to the leasehold scandal, my priority will always be to put the issues local people care about first, and to ensure our local community is at the heart of everything I do.

CHARLOTTE'S
CAMPAIGNS

I have spent my entire career to date fighting for workers’ rights. With in-work poverty on the rise and zero-hours contracts becoming commonplace, as an MP I am campaigning against these exploitative workplace practices and fighting for better employment rights at every opportunity.

I have an active interest in the development of our country’s future industrial strategy with a particular emphasis on the creation of the good, green jobs.

My Background

Before entering Parliament, I worked for the trade union GMB and was involved in campaigning for better treatment for Amazon workers, against the imposition of ‘Contract Six’ in ASDA and making the case to government for investment in low carbon nuclear technology which will help secure the future of quality jobs in places like Sellafield and Wood Nuclear in Birchwood.

Prior to this, I worked for the trade union Usdaw, where I was directly involved in negotiations on the pay and conditions of workers in Warrington at the Hermes, Yodel and XPO Logistics depots.
