Charlotte took part in a University of Manchester discussion this afternoon about the role of the nuclear industry in helping the U.K to reach our carbon net-zero target.

At the event she made the case for expanding the nuclear sector to support more highly-paid, skilled jobs in Warrington North.

Charlotte said:

"In our discussions about how to have a green recovery, it is essential that job-creation is at the heart of this.

As the Vice-Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Nuclear Energy I will continue to push for the Government to publish their Energy White Paper and to commit to new nuclear projects like Sizewell C."
