Charlotte spoke in the Westminster Hall debate on the hospitality sector and made the case for why pubs deserve far better.

As Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on pubs Charlotte has been standing up for local pubs in these difficult times.

Charlotte said:

"After the original shutdown, pubs have seen the rules change at the last minute with no basis in the scientific advice, the curfews and a farcical definition of a substantial meal. It's hard to escape the conclusion that the sector is an afterthought to the Government.

When this crisis is over people will want to congregate in pubs to celebrate; it will be a travesty if a lack of Government support means that those pubs will have closed their doors for good."
