Esther Ghey visits Parliament

The murder of Brianna Ghey shocked me, my constituents and many others across the country when news broke last year. I know the past 12 months has been extremely difficult for her family and all those who knew her.

With the case now concluded, I hope this will be the start of a process of understanding, closure, and focus where it deserves to be – on remembering Brianna and nurturing her legacy through the campaigning efforts of Esther Ghey and the Peace in Mind project.

And this is exactly what has happened today, with Esther meeting with Keir Starmer, Angela Rayner and SNP leader Stephen Flynn about her work, and today’s debate on creating a legacy befitting Brianna.
