Culcheth Library was able to reopen its doors on 3 August after having to shut down during the Covid pandemic.
Charlotte was invited down to join members of the Friends of Culcheth Library, along with LiveWire and Warrington Borough Council to mark the reopening and to see for herself what action is being taken to ensure a safer return. The library has introduced social distancing measures, a one way system, hand sanitiser and the quarantining of books on their return.
Charlotte said:
“It was great to join Friends of Culcheth Library on the day and the queues that started as soon as it reopened show how much it was missed by the community.
“Lots of thought and care has gone into making the library Covid-secure, but please be patient with staff and volunteers as they adjust to the new measures.”
