It has been reported that some Warrington residents wanting a test for COVID-19 are being asked to travel as far as Telford (65 miles away) in order to do so.

Charlotte said, ‘This is completely unacceptable. Boris Johnson promised us a ‘world beating’ Test and Trace system but here in Warrington all we want is one that works at all. With 90 cases in the borough in the past seven days, we cannot afford to fail when it comes to testing. I will continue to work with the Council and Public Health officials to ensure that there is an increase in testing capacity in the local area.’
