Charlotte joined Councillor Cathy Mitchell in Burtonwood for a litter pick as part of the The Great British September Clean 2020.

Running between 11th and 27th September, The Great British September Clean is part of the Keep Britain Tidy campaign.

Charlotte said:

'Alongside the usual litter, we noticed a significant number of disposable masks which is becoming an increasing issue- please make sure you're disposing of these safely as they are a hazard for people and wildlife.

If you'd like to take part in future litterpicks, there are many groups across our community who do these regularly including the local parish councils and Clean up my Community - Warrington! Feel free to contact my office and we can put you in touch, or help you set up your own group.'
